I know that in the past there has been a subtle discrimination regarding the hiring of employees over the age of 50. However, I believe that recently the mindset has been changing - and rightfully so. I could never figure out why employers shyed away from it in the first place. Regardless of the trivial matters that had once set the tone for that mindset - I always believed that the older employee pool had much to offer - and I still do.
