Ok, ok, you’ve caught me. I’ll admit it, I’m a Shareaholic. My addiction started only a few months back but I just can’t keep myself from it. This simple browser tool, Shareaholic, has made my life so much easier. I guess that’s why I’m now addicted to using it. What was once a time killer, traveling back and forth between bookmarking sites and Twitter, is now easily done from the page you wish to share. There is no need to go back and forth cutting and pasting your little heart out anymore.

Shareaholic is easily customizable to show only the services you wish to use. This handy tool is available for either Internet Explorer 8 or Firefox, which is what I use daily. With Firefox, a Shareaholic icon is located in your toolbar. When you’re ready to use it, just click on the icon and your service option list is ready to choose from.
What I absolutely love about this tool is that it can quickly show you how many times something has been saved to del.icio.us or if an item has been dugg already. If it’s already been submitted to Digg, you can see how many votes and comments it has gotten without needing to go to Digg directly. If you’re ready to digg something already submitted, it will take you directly to that page for quick and easy voting or commenting.

The “Twitter This” service is another favorite feature of mine but I won’t hold you back any longer. I know you’re dying to give it a test drive if you don’t already use it. I’m pretty confident that once you try it, you’ll love it too. Oh I almost forgot, it’s absolutely free!

I can’t wait to try this tool. I use a number of tools to speed up my social networking efforts (like Ping.fm), but this one does look terrific. I’ll stop back and let you know what I think..
