Yahoo and Bank of America have partnered to offer small business owners the chance to win a $20,000 Yahoo search marketing credit. Starting next Monday the 22nd you will have one week to submit your business questions for Kevin Salwen, former National Small Business Editor for the Wall Street Journal. If Kevin chooses your question to answer, you will be entered to win the $20,000 grand prize. The winner will also have the opportunity for a one-on-one interview with a Yahoo Small Business Expert and have their business featured in the Yahoo Answers Center. You can find more contest information here and submit your questions beginning Monday. Good luck!

What is “Yahoo search marketing credit”? Is it service / product? It will be interesting to follow the submissions.
Cool. I noticed, why a lot of business contests are launched these days?
Martin, Yahoo Search Marketing is similar to Google AdWords. You pay to have your business ads show up when keywords, that you’ve selected, are searched for by potential customers. So that means that if you win this giveaway, you will get a $20,000 credit towards these ads. Basically, $20,000 worth of free advertising. Hope this helps with any confusion.
Amanda,
Thanks for the explanation. That’s a great ad budget! I got a coupon for SEK 600 from Google (Sweden) sometime ago. I have registered an Adwords account and created an ad.
Wow! $20k would go a long way in terms of pay per click advertising…
In the end, credible link building is still the best way to go, though.
$20,000 worth of free advertising — is already a big help! Really big help.
