Very true. Some add ons are useful while some are not that useful. I would three more add ons in this list.

1. The most famous Google Toolbar
2. Delicious bookmark addon
3. Firebug very useful for developers.

Great list. Billeo is another add-on that deserves a mention. It's a great password manager and a real time saver. It securely saves my passwords and I can easily edit or delete them anytime. The tool is VeriSign secured and TRUSTe certified, so no security issues. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12715

the greasemonkey addon http://www.greasespot.net for firefox is a lifesaver, millions of useful scripts for adding or altering website's functionality.

one such script which will save you shedloads of time and annoyance, is the facebook purity script, which filters out all those silly quiz messages and other useless application spam from your facebook homepage, the script is available here: http://bit.ly/fbpure/

I've just recently discovered Wisestamp and have been using Read it Later for quite some time. Thanks for sharing and I'll check out the rest of these add-ons.
I'm also interested in the response to Martin's question regarding potential cons to adding too many add-ons. Is it an issue?

Amanda,

I have to check out the IE tab and MeasureIt and others. Have you had problems with Firefox crashing due to all the add-ons?
